Title : INTERSCHOOL COMPETITION "SMRITI"

The Inter-School Competition ‘SMRITI 2023- Celebrating Creativity, Fostering Innovation’ held at De Indian Public School was a resounding success. It aimed to foster healthy competition, encourage teamwork and showcase the diverse talents of the students. Around 400 students from 30 schools participated in numerous categories including academic, cultural and sports events. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest of the day, Shri. HR Gupta Sir showered his blessings in the Inter-School Competition and congratulated the students and the teachers for putting in tremendous efforts to make the event a great success. It served as a platform for students to showcase their talents, build friendships and learn from each other. It was a testament to the hard work, dedication and teamwork of all the members involved. Unveiling of the next edition of the School Magazine was the major highlight of the event. It showcased the remarkable achievements, artistic endeavors and the intellectual prowess of our Management, Students, Staff and dear Parents.
Experienced judges from various fields were invited to ensure fairness in judging. The event kicked off with an inspiring Opening Ceremony that included instrumental presentation and felicitation of the Chief Guest and the esteemed Judges. The varied range of competitions was intellectually stimulating and showcased the knowledge and eloquence of the participants. The cultural performances were a feast for the senses, displaying the rich cultural diversity of the participating schools. The Basketball Match ‘Bounce and Pounce’ was highly competitive, with participants demonstrating exceptional skills and sportsmanship. The Dipsians used all their potential and energy to accomplish their skills and proved their mettle at the basketball court by surpassing many eminent schools at different levels and earned the first position.
After intense competition, De Indian Public School received the Winners’ Trophy as the school participated in all the 16 events of the show and bagged first position in 11 events.
We believe that such events not only promote healthy competition but also contribute to the overall development of students. They learn important life skills, including teamwork, time management, and the ability to handle both success and setbacks gracefully. We look forward to host similar events in the future, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and excellence among schools in our region.
